Reduced Operations at Houston (Pearland) Intermodal and Automotive Facilities

With parts of Houston and the surrounding area impacted by major flooding caused by Tropical Depression Imelda, BNSF has reduced operations at its Houston (Pearland) Intermodal and Automotive Facilities. Each facility remains open but with limited personnel as many roadways remain impassable due to high water.

As heavy rain continues to fall and impacts from the flooding are still being assessed, customers should expect train departure delays of up to 24 hours or more. Normal operations will resume as quickly as conditions allow.
