Permit Embargo in Effect for FXE Eagle Pass and El Paso Interchanges
Due to congestion at the FXE Eagle Pass and El Paso, TX interchanges, BNSF has issued a permit embargo for all grain, dried distillers grain (DDG), wheat, soybean, soybean meal, corn, and corn syrup shipments destined to the FXE at these junctions.
BNSF will issue permits as conditions improve. Permit requests should be made through the Association of American Railroads (AAR) Embargo Railinc website.
Embargoes are temporary holds placed on freight to restrict the acceptance and handling of freight. You can view active embargoes at the Association of American Railroads (AAR) Embargo Railinc website here.
If you have questions about your shipment(s), please contact BNSF Customer Support at 1-888-428-2673.
